Chike C Nwoffiah is the CEO of Silicon Valley African Film Festival (SVAFF). He is an award-winning filmmaker, educator, and cultural advocate dedicated to amplifying African narratives through film and media. He is the founding director of the Silicon Valley African Film Festival (SVAFF), which has showcased over 100 films from 40+ African countries for 16 years. As president of Rhesus Media Group and founding partner of the Africa Film Fund, he invests in African filmmakers to drive cultural and economic impact.

A former Silicon Valley corporate strategist, Nwoffiah has served on numerous regional and national arts policy boards, including the National Endowment for the Arts Education Leaders Institute. He has lectured at UCLA, UC Santa Cruz, and Sacramento State University, and has keynoted at major conferences, including the Mandela Washington Fellowship and the National Black Educators Conference.

Nwoffiah’s contributions to arts and culture have earned him numerous accolades, including induction into the Silicon Valley Black Legends Hall of Fame, the Cornerstone of the Arts Award, and the President’s Gold Volunteer Service Award from U.S. President Joe Biden. A Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum — Silicon Valley, he continues to shape the future of African storytelling on the global stage.
